Where to start? With remarkably good domestic food, perfect atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, fantastic view or great staff? Maybe with fantastic owner with her interesting life story about how she changed her life after 25 years working in the office. She was ready for a new start and now she goes to work with a smile and leaves smiling... That's what she told me and I just loved it!!
Great view, great ambience. To start the day, we got an amuse-bouche that was pretty tasty. Fuzi with game were good, although I wish the usual game taste would have been a bit more pronounced. Santa Terra steak (essentially pulled pork) was good, but a bit too dry, probably due to the meat cut itself. The polenta that came with it was great. Ombolo was perfect, the teran sauce was astounding and the meat was more succulent. Both meals had a massive amount of truffles grated at the spot. For dessert, we had crostata with plums (left the oven a few minutes ago!) and the lemon cheesecake, both of which were terrific. The salad and the wine were pretty good as well. Also, homemade bread was served, which was excellent as well.
Grat view, friendly but professional owners, affordable prices and quality food. The home made bread is a story for its own. And cheescake too. If you like seasonal good food and ambient, you won't be disappointed.
Very beautiful place and a terrace and a green garden with a vast scenery to the valleys and mountains. Traditional gulash pasta, gnocchi and wild asparagus pasta were excellent with home made bread. Home made feeling with good quality ingredients with a good price/quality ratio. Would recommend to anyone.
Greate food, we had some pasta dishes that were delicious. Awesome staff, very hospitable. Greate view, beautiful terrace.
A true Istrian gem! Delicious local food with a creative touch, cozy atmosphere, and warm, welcoming staff. Everything is fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an authentic dining experience in a beautiful countryside setting! Thank you!
I’m very satisfied with both the food and the prices! The staff are attentive and make sure everything runs smoothly. It’s a lovely place with a great atmosphere, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend!
We wanted to try some local food, so we came in for lunch. We ordered homemade pasta with ragu and grilled mushrooms for starters. The food was very well made, and the service was fast.
